Physical Therapist - Rehab/Medicine - Full Time

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Periscope Spine and Joint Rehab Center in Edison, New Jersey. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their overall quality of life. Periscope Spine and Joint Rehab Center is a leading healthcare provider specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation. Our state-of-the-art facility encompasses 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine, equipped with the latest technology and resources to deliver exceptional patient care. We are committed to a patient-centric approach, focusing on individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs, primarily serving clients with private medical insurance.

You will work alongside a team of two dedicated physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all of whom share a common goal of promoting health and mobility among our patients. Your work will be conducted exclusively onsite, reinforcing the importance of hands-on care and immediate support for each patient.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a broad spectrum of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.

Manage an efficient schedule, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring each session is thorough and impactful.

Document all treatments and patient progress comprehensively to comply with regulations and optimize patient care.

Consult with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to enhance treatment outcomes through a coordinated healthcare approach.

Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive and optimistic environment.

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, addressing a wide range of conditions from post-surgical repairs to chronic musculoskeletal injuries. Patients who visit our facility include athletes, active individuals, and elderly clients seeking to improve their functionality and quality of life. Your expertise will directly contribute to their rehabilitation, helping them regain strength, flexibility, and the ability to perform daily activities independently.

A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.

Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with a clean record and no history of disciplinary actions.

Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) platforms; Prior experience within an orthopedic outpatient setting, preferably in a private practice environment.

Knowledge and skill in developing individualized exercise regimens tailored to patients' specific rehabilitation goals.

Experience with manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in sports rehabilitation practices.
