Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine each patient's unique rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to promote recovery and improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results, using metric-based assessments.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for maintaining independence post-therapy, including home exercise programs.
• Document patient interactions and progress in compliance with clinic protocols and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in physical therapy, attending workshops and continuing education as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in rehabilitating individuals with orthopedic injuries and post-operative recovery needs. This may include patients recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements, sports-related injuries, or accidents. You will engage with diverse patient demographics, including both adults and seniors, tailoring your approach to each individual's needs and ensuring they receive compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation principles and evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to educate patients effectively.
• Proficient in using electronic health records for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific populations such as athletes or geriatric patients is a plus.
• Additional certifications in manual therapy or advanced orthopedic techniques will be advantageous.
• Previous use of telehealth platforms for patient education and follow-ups is a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
