Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' orthopedic conditions through comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans based on their individual needs and goals.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, specifically designed to enhance recovery and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and prevention strategies to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Web PT to track outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Implement evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes, focusing on a holistic approach that includes strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options to minimize reliance on medications and encourage natural healing processes.
• Actively engage with colleagues across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care, including referrals to other specialists when necessary.
• Motivate and support patients through their rehabilitation journey, celebrating their achievements and milestones along the way.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with patients who are recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. This includes individuals who seek rehabilitation for sports-related injuries, post-operative recovery from orthopedic surgeries, and those dealing with musculoskeletal disorders. You will support diverse patient demographics, tailoring your approach to their unique circumstances and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Active Physical Therapist License in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly with Web PT, to support accurate documentation and compliance.
• Commitment to staying updated on the latest research and methodologies in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic.
• Strong background in developing individualized exercise regimens and therapeutic interventions.
• Experience using a variety of rehabilitation modalities and modalities related to orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
