Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique goals of each patient to tailor treatment strategies effectively.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused attention and personalized care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to design and implement customized rehabilitation programs.
• Provide cost-efficient treatment options that enhance patients' mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Explore and recommend non-surgical alternatives, prioritizing patient comfort and recovery.
• Develop and monitor individualized care plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training.
• Document treatments and patient progress meticulously in our EMR system, such as WebPT, to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Motivate and support patients through their recovery process, celebrating milestones and offering guidance on lifestyle improvements.
• Encourage an active lifestyle among patients by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care and effective referrals when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, including a diverse range of orthopedic conditions. Patients come to us seeking rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain issues. We prioritize an individualized approach, spending quality time understanding each patient's unique circumstances and rehabilitation goals, which strengthens their trust and promotes optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with an impeccable record free of board actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise prescriptions to enhance patient outcomes.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document treatments and manage patient information efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred, with proven success in treating a variety of issues.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
