TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a committed and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. At TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, we take pride in providing exceptional physical therapy services within a supportive and innovative environment. Our practice is specifically focused on outpatient orthopedic care, servicing a diverse clientele primarily with private medical insurance. We feature a state-of-the-art, 5,000-square-foot sports medicine facility designed to facilitate recovery, featuring advanced rehabilitation equipment and therapeutic technologies. As a partially PT-owned practice, we emphasize a collaborative approach, ensuring that our therapists work closely together to deliver the finest care possible.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Elizabeth, NJ clinic, where you will work alongside a supportive team of experienced professionals including two fellow physical therapists and a dedicated PTA. Our hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance while you focus on patient care. You will be empowered to create patient-centered treatment plans in a collaborative and peer-supported atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients to identify their goals, needs, and areas of improvement.
• Manage a caseload with an individualized focus, devoting one-on-one attention to each patient during their appointment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that utilize a variety of modalities and techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions aimed at reducing dependency on medications and avoiding unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Encourage patients to maintain active participation in their rehabilitation through motivation and tailored fitness programs.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting treatment outcomes and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, for seamless documentation and patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele includes individuals seeking rehabilitation for sports-related injuries, post-operative recovery, and long-term musculoskeletal issues. Your efforts will significantly contribute to their recovery journey, enhancing both their physical capabilities and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and comprehensive exercise protocol development.
• Experienced in outpatient orthopedic settings with a focus on patient-centric care.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions or board issues.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a high-paced outpatient orthopedic environment where you managed a diverse patient population.
• Advanced skills in developing tailored rehabilitation programs suited to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus an array of benefits designed to support your professional and personal well-being.
