This full-time position offers the opportunity to work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, contributing to the recovery and rehabilitation of patients in a supportive environment. The role primarily focuses on enabling patients to regain their physical function and quality of life through evidence-based treatment strategies.

Work Environment

Working at our Rehabilitation Center provides a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere where patient care is of utmost importance. As part of a cohesive team that includes one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and two Physical Therapists, you will engage closely with patients, focused on individualized treatment plans. The facility is designed with ample space for therapy sessions, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and care they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical therapy needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a diverse caseload, providing one-on-one sessions with patients, ensuring quality time for interventions and support.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Develop and document comprehensive care plans, integrating manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols.
• Educate patients on exercises and healthy lifestyle choices that promote recovery and prevent further injury.
• Motivate and encourage patients through their rehabilitation journey, focusing on functional goals.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, closely monitoring patient progress and making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR software, particularly WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and address any ancillary medical issues affecting the patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Our diverse patient population includes athletes seeking to return to peak performance, as well as older adults aiming to restore their independence. Your contributions directly impact their recovery journey, aiding in their mobility and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• A valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining an impeccable professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, essential for effective patient treatment.
• Exceptional skills in developing and implementing individualized exercise protocols tailored to each patient's condition.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, to optimize patient documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of delivering effective rehabilitation services and achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Experience in a collaborative healthcare environment, working together with other healthcare staff to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
