Arrowhead PT Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team in Avenel, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing and implementing comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans that focus on pain relief, mobility enhancement, and restoration of function.
• Overseeing and mentoring physical therapy assistants to ensure they correctly implement prescribed treatments and interventions.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities through diagnostic evaluations, aiming to establish functional baselines and set rehabilitative goals.
• Assessing clients' home environments to identify potential barriers to recovery and recommending modifications to enhance their independence.
• Delivering prescribed physical therapy services in the clients' homes while maintaining close communication with referring physicians.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and physical modalities to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Evaluating and fitting prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring they meet clients' individual needs and recommending adjustments to the clinical team as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contributing to interdisciplinary case conferences, sharing insights that enhance the overall treatment strategy for clients.
• Providing education to clients and families about therapy devices and supporting a comprehensive understanding of care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse population of clients, primarily those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic conditions. Your tailored interventions will help not only in rehabilitation but also in empowering clients to actively participate in their health and wellness journey. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Doctorate program in Physical Therapy.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Applicants with at least one year of experience in both acute care and home care settings will be given preference. A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and a passion for lifelong learning will also enhance your candidacy. Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practice is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, supplemented with a robust benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a flexible spending account.
