Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing diagnostic and prognostic testing to inform treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement customized physical therapy interventions aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring functionality, ensuring adherence to prescribed plans of care.
• Oversee the performance of Physical Therapy Assistants, providing guidance and support to enhance their delivery of therapies to clients.
• Incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as traction and massage into treatment sessions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback from fellow healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with clients and their families, providing education on home exercise programs, equipment usage, and methods to optimize recovery.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records documenting evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development opportunities and case conferences to stay current with best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal impairments. The treatment approach is personalized and client-centered, emphasizing the patient's role in their recovery process. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in New Jersey.
• A valid CPR Certificate.

• At least two years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, focusing on rehabilitation following surgery or injury.

Compensation and Benefits
