Rhythm & Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist for our comprehensive outpatient clinic located in Sayreville, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will be working in an onsite rehabilitation center that features state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment. The center promotes a culture of collaboration, where therapists work alongside other healthcare professionals in a cohesive team atmosphere to deliver comprehensive care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, enabling a consistent routine that balances professional responsibilities and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients to develop effective treatment plans tailored to their specific orthopedic needs and functional limitations.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, monitoring patient progress, and adapting treatment strategies as their conditions evolve.
• Consult with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring holistic care through collaboration and communication on patient conditions and progress.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely, including evaluations, treatment plans, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in discharge planning and ensure follow-up care is scheduled to support long-term recovery and health optimization.
• Stay current with ongoing training and maintain compliance with state, local, and federal regulations per physical therapy practice requirements.
• Participate in facility meetings, discussions on access improvements, and initiatives focused on enhancing patient accessibility and care outcomes.
• Utilize clinical assessment tools to evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify approaches as necessary based on patient feedback and measurable outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on providing care for patients with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and mobility challenges resulting from various conditions. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, including athletes, seniors, and individuals recovering from surgery or injury, ensuring each receives evidence-based treatment to facilitate their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience, with proven expertise in patient assessment and treatment.
• Current certification in CPR.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient information and treatment plans effectively.
• Familiarity with innovative rehabilitation techniques and modalities, including evidence-based practices for pain management and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
