Work Environment

This position is onsite, working in a collaborative outpatient clinic dedicated to orthopedic care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for patients significantly impacted by orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques, modalities, and therapeutic exercises to facilitate optimal healing and rehabilitation.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance recovery outcomes, ensuring each patient receives the highest care tailored to their needs.
• Educate patients on their conditions, injury prevention techniques, and strategies for maintaining wellness after treatment.
• Keep detailed records of patient interactions, progress, and outcomes using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including fractures, post-surgical rehabilitation following joint replacements, and those with chronic pain conditions. The diversity of our patient population enables you to apply a variety of treatment philosophies and techniques, supporting patients in their recovery journey while helping them develop lifelong skills for managing their health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey or eligibility for licensure.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with patients and understanding their unique needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits
