Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on pain relief, functional recovery, and maintaining optimal mobility levels.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by utilizing diagnostic assessments and functional capability tests to identify rehabilitation goals and track progress.
• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective execution of treatment plans while providing guidance and support as needed.
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, including manual and non-manual interventions, to help patients regain strength and independence.
• Administer advanced treatment techniques such as traction, massage, and the application of physical agents while regularly assessing their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to participate in case conferences, sharing insights and recommendations to deliver optimal, patient-focused care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Provide education to patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, device usage, and overall care to promote understanding and adherence to the treatment plan.
• Conduct assessments of the home environment, recommending necessary modifications to increase safety and support independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients experiencing a variety of orthopedic conditions, including postoperative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and mobility challenges due to musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing within the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification to ensure preparedness for any emergency situations.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate patient visits if required.

Experience within a rehabilitation facility focusing on orthopedic therapy is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits

Ortho Complete Care offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
