Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop personalized treatment plans addressing functional limitations and disabilities.
• Provide consultations to healthcare providers regarding a patient's continuum of care, ensuring clear communication and coordinated efforts in treatment delivery.
• Engage with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds, adhering to our high standards of customer service and ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Implement individualized treatment strategies, perform ongoing assessments, and adjust plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Document treatment sessions accurately in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and professional standards, including submitting charges for services rendered.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, referral sources, and physicians to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and program development, while also supervising and mentoring support staff and students.
• Stay engaged with professional development through attending workshops, in-services, and continuing education programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. This role requires not only clinical skills but also excellent communication techniques to effectively educate patients and their families about their treatment plans and strategies for optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is a minimum requirement; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated aptitude for written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
