Work Environment

The work setting is primarily onsite in our home care facility, promoting a hands-on approach to patient rehabilitation. You will be part of a supportive team that encourages professional development while delivering individualized care tailored to each patient's needs. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine individualized treatment goals and needs.
• Design and implement personalized rehabilitation plans that integrate various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and provide preventive care strategies.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with clinic standards.
• Leverage advanced manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery pathways.
• Foster a collaborative relationship with physicians and other healthcare professionals to streamline patient care.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to ensure adherence to treatment plans.
• Promote holistic health by focusing on building strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus on a diverse range of patients, primarily those recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation. The clinic serves a varied demographic, including active adults, athletes, and older adults, each requiring personalized attention to their unique rehabilitation challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degree preferred.
• Current valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise modalities specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing physical rehabilitation plans that yield positive patient outcomes.
• Familiarity with community outreach programs aimed at promoting health and wellness.
• Active participation in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
