Our 5000 square feet state-of-the-art sports medicine facility is predominantly focused on serving individuals with private medical insurance. Here, we emphasize a collaborative approach to rehabilitation, prioritizing exceptional patient care delivered by our highly skilled team, which currently includes two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA).

Work Environment

You will be working onsite in a vibrant rehabilitation facility, fully equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their specific goals and treatment requirements, developing personalized care plans that reflect those needs.
• Manage a consistent patient caseload of one individual per hour, delivering focused attention and tailored interventions.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to address musculoskeletal issues effectively and enhance patients' range of motion.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration by consulting with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Monitor and document treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring that progress is tracked and documented for ongoing assessment.
• Encourage a lifestyle of health and wellness by designing specialized fitness and wellness programs aligned with each patient's unique needs.
• Educate patients on alternatives to medications and surgical procedures, empowering them as active participants in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will predominantly focus on individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries, including athletes and active individuals requiring rehabilitation. You will take pride in addressing the distinct movement and functional needs of each patient, offering them personalized guidance and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• An earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is a prerequisite for this role.
• Possession of a valid state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is essential.
• A successful track record with no disciplinary actions on your professional record is required.
• You should demonstrate strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, as well as exceptional competence in developing and executing exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, is necessary for maintaining accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

Experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred. Candidates who have worked with diverse patient populations and possess a solid understanding of evidence-based practices will be particularly well-suited for this role. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
