Queen Tower Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. We operate from a state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot facility, designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our dedicated team, consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), emphasizes collaboration and innovation in delivering premier health services to our patients, all of whom primarily hold private medical insurance.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced, on-site outpatient office environment. The center operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and develop individualized care plans.
• Efficiently manage a patient caseload, providing one-on-one treatment sessions to optimize outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality therapies that enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques and modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Motivate and support patients through their recovery journeys to achieve their functional goals.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, wellness, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate extensively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care, treatment progress, and outcomes, adhering to compliance standards.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on orthopedic patients, who often present with a variety of conditions including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Your expertise will be critical in addressing their specific needs and facilitating their return to daily activities or sports.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated clean record with no reported board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of tailored exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in managing a diverse patient population and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient education and motivation.

Compensation and Benefits
