Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, determining their specific orthopedic needs through detailed evaluations.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique goals and medical history.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including advanced techniques like therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment approaches based on timely evaluations and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, including strategies for injury prevention, at-home exercises, and self-care techniques to promote long-term wellness.
• Facilitate collaborative care by working closely with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation specialists to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Document all patient interactions methodically using our electronic medical record system to maintain accurate health records and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population that includes individuals of all ages recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain issues. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your insights and interventions will play a critical role in helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A strong foundation in clinical assessment and treatment approaches, particularly concerning orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate patients and build rapport.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, showcasing a deep understanding of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Familiarity with current trends in rehabilitation therapies and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
• Specialized training or certification in advanced therapeutic techniques such as Dry Needling, Functional Movement Screening, or Manual Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
