Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the lives of patients by improving their mobility and functional capabilities. Your primary responsibilities will involve assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and optimize performance.

Work Environment

As an onsite rehabilitation center, Greenfield Rehab and Wellness Center fosters a collaborative and dynamic work environment. You will be part of a close-knit team consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant. Our facility emphasizes hands-on care, ensuring that each therapist remains engaged with their patients. With operating hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, our commitment to work-life balance allows our team to excel in their professional and personal lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to fulfill each patient's unique objectives.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour to provide focused and personalized care.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic techniques aimed at improving the range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop comprehensive and tailored treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities such as strength training, manual therapy, and functional exercises.
• Create individualized fitness and wellness programs that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Encourage patient motivation and adherence to treatment protocols by providing continuous support and education.
• Document all provided services meticulously in accordance with practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously monitor progress and evaluate treatment outcomes to ensure that patient care is aligned with their goals and needs.
• Consult and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care pathways for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance seeking rehabilitation services for orthopedic conditions. This includes postoperative recovery, sports injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and experience with hands-on treatments.
• Proficient in designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, for documenting treatment plans and patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in implementing innovative therapeutic modalities that enhance patient recovery.
• Experience in a collaborative team-based environment that prioritizes holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level.
