Work Environment

The role of the Physical Therapist is based in our outpatient office, which provides a collaborative and supportive environment. As a part of our dedicated team, you will work alongside other healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions to establish individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to alleviate pain and promote physical well-being.
• Educate patients on effective exercise techniques, proper body mechanics, and home exercise regimes to foster independence during their recovery.
• Utilize various modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring patients receive optimum treatment to facilitate healing.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting improvements in range of motion, strength, and function, while regularly communicating findings to the healthcare team.
• Maintain organized treatment areas and ensure that therapeutic supplies and equipment are readily available for patient sessions.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team, contributing to comprehensive care strategies aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
• Support and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, helping them navigate their emotional and physical challenges.
• Uphold the clinic's ethical and professional standards, prioritizing patient confidentiality and rights throughout care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position requires interaction with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and age-related challenges. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
