Key Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist effectively manages a caseload of patients, focusing on delivering high-quality, patient-centered therapeutic interventions in cooperation with the medical team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function and establish a foundation for individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient goals and needs.
• Implement and modify therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities as outlined in each patient's personalized plan of care, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Maintain detailed documentation that accurately reflects patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes to support continuity of care and insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care strategies and participate actively in case discussions and patient progress meetings.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs that promote recovery and long-term health benefits.
• Administer manual therapies, modalities, and fitness assessments that assist in improving a patient's mobility and overall function.
• Adapt daily activities to prioritize patient safety and maximize therapeutic effectiveness across a diverse patient population.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients recovering from a range of orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals from varying backgrounds and ages, allowing you to build a wide skill set and enhance your expertise in treatment methodologies.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is essential.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• Commitment to continued learning and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience
