CareNow Cardio is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to enhance our onsite rehabilitation team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility boasts a welcoming and supportive environment conducive to healing and recovery. As a Physical Therapist at CareNow Cardio, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists. This collaborative setting allows for comprehensive patient care, maximizing therapeutic outcomes. Our standard operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to meet patient needs and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving patient mobility, strength, and functionality, based on initial assessments.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical capabilities and limitations, devising specific therapeutic activities to aid recovery.
• Guide patients through tailored therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities aimed at pain relief and promoting overall well-being.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention techniques to empower them in their recovery process.
• Utilize and monitor therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring safety and effectiveness under your supervision.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously, analyzing data related to range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functional gains.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment for patient therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance care coordination, problem-solving, and integrated treatment approaches.
• Provide emotional and motivational support to encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality, respecting individual rights and privacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy modalities.
• Strong clinical skills and proficiency in developing patient-centered treatment plans.
• Excellent communication abilities and a compassionate disposition towards patients.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.

Compensation and Benefits
