Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Symbria Rehabilitation Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and directing tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability and alleviating pain for clients.
• Evaluating clients' levels of function through detailed assessments, applying diagnostic tests, and interpreting results to inform treatment plans.
• Overseeing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to established care plans and quality of service delivery.
• Assessing clients' home environments to make recommendations that enhance their rehabilitation potential and promote independence.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic exercises, massages, and physical agents, as well as instructing clients and their families on effective treatment methodologies.
• Documenting clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with both state regulations and company policies.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team conferences to review patient progress and collaboratively develop care strategies.
• Consulting with physicians, case managers, and family members to relay updates or suggest modifications to treatment plans as needed.
• Completing functional assessments and care plan reviews on-site, ensuring that community resources are effectively utilized.

Your role will primarily focus on rehabilitating diverse patient populations, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and valid PT licensure in the state of New Jersey.

• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A deep commitment to clinical excellence, patient advocacy, and the ability to support and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys.
