Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Life Care Physical Therapy Services, you will:

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical status and capacities in their home environment, taking into consideration their individual needs and contextual factors.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including exercise, stretching, manual therapy, and advanced equipment.
• Implement treatment sessions that aim to alleviate pain, increase mobility, and achieve patients' functional goals, ensuring that they are engaged and motivated throughout the process.
• Continuously monitor and document treatment outcomes, making modifications to therapy plans as necessary to optimize progress.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, modifications, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence and enhance safety during daily activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and seminars to stay updated with the latest practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse demographic, treating patients ranging from post-surgical individuals to those managing chronic conditions or recovering from physical impairments. Your approach will be family-oriented, involving caregivers in the treatment process and prioritizing therapeutic outcomes that enable patients to live with greater independence and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
