Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where a close-knit team of healthcare professionals collaborates to deliver comprehensive care. The work schedule is set from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, allowing our team to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing consistent and high-quality patient interactions. Our facility is equipped with modern tools and resources to support effective treatment modalities, ensuring that both staff and patients thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals.
• Provide personalized physical therapy sessions, ensuring compassionate care that prioritizes patient comfort and efficiency in achieving mobility milestones.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to deliver focused attention and thorough, continuous care for each individual.
• Implement evidence-based manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programs that promote functional improvements.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress expectations, and strategies for self-management of their conditions.
• Foster a cooperative atmosphere by actively collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Regularly assess treatment impact and modify plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Keep accurate and detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, for compliance and quality assurance.
• Advocate for prevention and wellness through instructive guidance on lifestyle modifications that enhance patient strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, cultivating resilience and confidence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. The patients range in age and physical ability, necessitating a versatile approach tailored to each individual's rehabilitation needs. Your role as a Physical Therapist is pivotal in facilitating not only recovery but also promoting long-term health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with a clean record free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated competence in utilizing various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• A proven track record of success in designing effective exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in EMR software, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• A commitment to ongoing education and staying current with the latest research and techniques in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, with significant exposure to orthopedic cases.
• Advanced certification in specialized therapeutic techniques or practices that enhance patient care.
• Experience in developing wellness programs tailored to patients' needs, emphasizing a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
