Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's condition, utilizing your expertise to diagnose and develop treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Implement various treatment methods, including exercises, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve physical function.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting treatments, responses, and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and recommend assistive devices for mobility and daily activities.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for your patients' rehabilitation journey.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in physical therapy by participating in professional workshops, networking, and maintaining relevant certifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including children and adults, each presenting unique challenges and conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and more. By focusing on individualized care plans, you will play an essential role in helping each patient reach their therapeutic goals and regain their independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and maintain documentation.
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and electronic health records.
• Ability to be highly flexible and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Two years of prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred, offering insights into patient care and treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
