Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in an outpatient clinic environment from Monday to Friday, with work hours from 9 am to 5 pm. The fast-paced nature of our clinic requires an individual who can effectively manage a varied caseload while delivering personalized care to each patient. You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced professionals, promoting a health-conscious atmosphere that encourages recovery and strength-building.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify physical limitations and tailor individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function and enhancing quality of life.
• Manage a client caseload that allows for effective one-on-one interaction, ensuring personalized attention and treatment efficacy.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive care plans, integrating multiple therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Implement non-surgical solutions and alternative treatment methods that reduce reliance on medications, emphasizing the importance of wellness and preventive care.
• Motivate patients through each stage of their rehabilitation, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to achieve their health and fitness goals.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor treatment progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes and engagement.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions through our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, particularly Web PT, to ensure continuity of care.
• Foster collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance patient recovery efforts and clinical outcomes.

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse population, including athletes recovering from injuries, adults seeking to improve their mobility, and individuals focused on pain management and rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license valid in the state of New Jersey with a clean record, free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and skilled in designing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to patients' needs.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for effective, accurate documentation.
• Strong knowledge of current evidence-based physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedics.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients with effective communication and motivation techniques.
• Mastery of manual therapy modalities and a solid foundation in exercise prescription.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
