Position Overview

Access Control Physical Therapy & Wellness is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation facility located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to our patients. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.

Work Environment

The position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, providing an optimal environment for patient recovery. You will work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state practice acts, ensuring compliance with the laws governing physical therapy practices and supervision of staff.

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to develop tailored treatment plans addressing their functional limitations and disabilities.

• Perform comprehensive assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting evaluation results to determine the appropriate plan of care.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on your evaluations, adjusting methods as necessary to accommodate patients' changing conditions over time.

• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations with other healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment outcomes and document any changes in patient conditions as needed.

• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring all patient interactions are documented accurately and in a timely manner.

• Participate actively in facility meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient access and service delivery.

• Maintain all required training and compliance with state, local, and federal regulations throughout your tenure.

• Evaluate and direct the therapeutic treatment of patients requiring physical therapy and clearly document their medical needs and therapy progress.

The patients you will serve include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those with chronic conditions impacting their mobility. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist (DPT).

• A minimum of two years of experience specifically in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Valid CPR certification.

• Experience with diverse patient populations and various orthopedic conditions.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
