Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Carle, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, integrating clinical assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding patient care and ensure continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Engage with patients of all ages and backgrounds, adhering to exceptional customer service standards.
• Implement therapy interventions, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans based on clinical judgment and legislative regulations.
• Document all treatments and patient interactions accurately, including treatment results and discharge planning, in adherence to professional standards.
• Collaboratively work alongside interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and support staff, to deliver superior patient care.
• Participate in community outreach efforts, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and departmental leadership functions.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, ensuring efficient use of department resources.
• Uphold licensure requirements and complete ongoing professional development through attendance at in-services and educational programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is required, candidates with advanced clinical experience or specialty training in orthopedic rehabilitation and hands-on treatment techniques will be highly regarded.
