Work Environment

The appointed Physical Therapist will work in an onsite outpatient office encompassing a collaborative workspace designed to enhance clinical outcomes and teamwork. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Stryker Physical Therapy, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians and developing individualized treatment plans based on their unique conditions.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs to facilitate recovery and enhance functional capabilities.
• Providing exceptional customer service during therapy sessions, establishing effective communication channels with patients and their families.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize treatment outcomes, regularly assessing progress and modifying plans as necessary.
• Delivering skilled interventions, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, both in the clinic and, when necessary, in patients' homes.
• Timely documentation of patient encounters and records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and practice standards.
• Engaging in continuous education and professional development to stay abreast of best practices within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, each presenting unique challenges and treatment needs. Your role will involve implementing specialized therapeutic techniques to address conditions ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to developmental disorders, all aimed at enhancing patients' quality of life.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required to ensure success in this role:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Active and valid DPT license in the state of New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer applications to facilitate seamless documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with at least two years of experience in clinical physical therapy settings, particularly those with expertise in specific specializations such as orthopedic or sports medicine practices, will be prioritized. Compensation and Benefits
