Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor, your daily duties will include:

• Developing tailored treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, ensuring alignment with their rehabilitation goals.
• Conducting evaluations to determine patients' physical abilities through comprehensive diagnostic tests, including muscle, nerve, joint assessments, and functional performance evaluations.
• Administering physical therapy treatments such as manual therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and utilizing various physical agents to promote healing and recovery.
• Supervising and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing treatment protocols and adjusting programs based on patient progress.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Documenting patient progress and clinical records meticulously, including initial evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Enhancing patients' home environments by providing recommendations and modifications that will support their independence and rehabilitation success.
• Engaging effectively with patients and their families, ensuring a clear understanding of care plans and therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve treating diverse patient populations with various physical therapy needs, including post-operative rehabilitation, recovery from injury, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage patient caseloads efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering productive patient relationships and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
