Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify therapeutic needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement personalized rehabilitation strategies aimed at improving mobility, strength, pain management, balance, and overall function.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, documenting progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring duties, including clinical instruction for physical therapy interns and residents, sharing your expertise with the next generation of therapists.
• Conduct in-service educational sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care and continuity of services.
• With managerial support, initiate and participate in clinical research relevant to orthopedic therapy to enhance our service offerings and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily focused on outpatient care, working directly with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient demographics vary widely, ranging from athletes looking to return to peak performance to senior patients needing assistance with mobility and daily activities. Your ability to relate and adapt your treatment approach to individual patient needs will be critical to their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Tangible experience as a Physical Therapist, backed by a required Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong dedication to patient-centered care with a proven ability to motivate and encourage individuals throughout their rehabilitation process.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
