Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional abilities, leading to the development of personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team, including MDs, OTs, and DCs, to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's rehabilitation process.
• Utilize cutting-edge equipment and treatment modalities to address orthopedic injuries, enhancing patient performance and recovery rates.
• Educate patients on effective at-home exercise regimens and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate patient documentation through our efficient electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Engage in regular case conferences, clinical rounds, and ongoing professional development sessions to continuously enhance clinical skills and team collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as those with chronic pain conditions related to musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient population includes a wide range of ages and activity levels, requiring a flexible approach to treatment that addresses varying rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Valid licensing to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey (or eligibility for licensure).
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated clinical reasoning and proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focusing on patient-centered care.
• Specific certifications in areas such as dry needling, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation are highly advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, although motivated new graduates with strong clinical skills will also be considered.
