Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including gathering medical history and performing targeted assessments to develop effective treatment strategies.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, engaging them in the goal-setting process to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
• Execute and adjust treatment protocols based on individual patient evaluations and needs, utilizing advanced modalities and therapeutic techniques tailored to each case.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as appropriate, ensuring a unified team approach to patient care; document changes in patient conditions and modify treatment plans based on clinical observations.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up activities, ensuring a seamless transition for patients, which includes detailed documentation of every aspect of patient care.
• Maintain effective time management and productivity standards, including accurate scheduling and participation in department meetings and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of department objectives and pursue continuing education to enhance professional skills and the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
