Work Environment

Working onsite at our rehabilitation center, you will be immersed in a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere that prioritizes teamwork and patient-centric care. The typical work schedule spans Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while fully engaging with our patient community. Our clinic is designed to facilitate healing and recovery, featuring modern treatment rooms equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of patients, treating an average of three individuals per hour, each with unique orthopedic needs.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, assessing movement patterns and functional limitations to establish precise and individualized treatment plans.
• Implement a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education strategies aimed at promoting self-management and recovery.
• Formulate strong working relationships with referring physicians, occupational therapists, chiropractic doctors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to ensure comprehensive, team-based care for our patients.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient progress utilizing the CureMD electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population includes adults aged 40 to 65, frequently dealing with various orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will tailor your approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient, allowing for an effective recovery trajectory and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Master's Degree in the field is required.
• An active New Jersey physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure is essential for this role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey treatment plans and engage effectively with patients.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred. However, we warmly welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in their careers.
• Familiarity with utilizing evidence-based practice in clinical settings is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
