Sierra Orthopedic Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in East Brunswick, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping patients recover their mobility and reach optimal functionality. Work Environment

This full-time position requires a hands-on approach with an emphasis on onsite patient care. Operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will work directly with patients in our clinic setting while maintaining a strong focus on individualized treatment plans. Collaborating closely with fellow team members—two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA)—you will foster an environment that emphasizes teamwork, communication, and the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient goals and needs, ensuring personalized treatment approaches.
• Manage a caseload effectively, typically overseeing one patient per hour to provide focused, quality care.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols tailored to each patient's specific orthopedic needs.
• Develop comprehensive and cost-effective treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and reducing dependency on medications.
• Encourage a non-surgical approach where possible, equipping patients with tools and strategies to aid in their recovery.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs, integrating various therapeutic exercises and methods.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions while rigorously documenting patient progress and outcomes.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to achieve their maximum functional potential.
• Engage with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, making adjustments to therapy as necessary and maintaining effective communication with patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters primarily to orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will work closely with patients throughout their rehabilitation, emphasizing a tailored approach that focuses on their unique circumstances and goals for recovery. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position, ensuring that you have the educational foundation for advanced practice.
• Candidates must possess a valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey, with a clean professional record devoid of disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques is essential to provide effective patient care.
• You should demonstrate a high level of competence in developing and implementing tailored exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software is highly desirable, facilitating efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, allowing for a smoother integration into our practice's framework.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
