Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing their physical capabilities and discussing their symptoms to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate strength and conditioning methods tailored to each patient's needs.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques in private treatment rooms to alleviate pain and enhance functionality.
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options, ensuring they understand the significance of adherence to therapy protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and improve overall therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on active adults who require rehabilitative care for orthopedic conditions. This includes clients recovering from surgical interventions, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will play a vital role in guiding patients towards recovery, improving their mobility, and enhancing their quality of life through effective therapy interventions. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing preventative care strategies to help patients maintain their physical health and prevent future injuries.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong connections with patients and maintain professional relationships with team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred, candidates with passion and eagerness to learn will also be considered. Familiarity with current best practices in physical therapy, as well as experience with patient-centered care models, will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
