Work Environment

Located in East Brunswick, NJ, our rehabilitation facility provides a dynamic and supportive work setting, where the emphasis is on teamwork and shared goals. Our team is composed of experienced professionals, including Physicians, Occupational Therapists, and Nurse Practitioners, creating a culture of collaboration and mutual respect. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to devise personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and conditions.
• Manage and treat an average of three patients per hour, focusing primarily on adults aged 40-65 with a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• Use a comprehensive approach including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to foster recovery and improve functional abilities.
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals including MDs, OTs, DCs, and NPs, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress using CureMD EMR, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily caters to adults aged 40-65 who are facing orthopedic challenges. This demographic often presents a variety of conditions ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. Our team is devoted to understanding each patient's unique journey, offering tailored interventions that enhance their overall health and functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is necessary.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• While two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive the necessary guidance and mentorship.
• Experience using electronic medical records (like CureMD) is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
