Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to devise tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement and monitor treatment programs, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices that enhance recovery outcomes.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic care using various techniques in accordance with the physician's plan, directly impacting patient recovery.
• Consult with patients and their caregivers to educate them on treatment plans and self-management strategies as part of their recovery process.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care through shared insights and collaborative problem-solving.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by building rapport with patients and contributing positively to their rehabilitation experience.
• Regularly meet or exceed utilization goals while adhering to all relevant compliance and business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on treating orthopedic patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, surgery, or chronic conditions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with pediatric, neurologic, and geriatrics, broadening your clinical experience and impact. By employing individualized treatment strategies, you will empower patients to regain and optimize their physical functions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedics.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, essential for patient interactions and teamwork.
• Strong computer skills for managing patient records and documentation.
• Ability to foster strong professional relationships with patients, thus facilitating their adherence to therapy and achieving functional goals.

Compensation and Benefits
