Position Overview

The Motion and Health Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in East Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a full-time position that allows you to focus on providing exceptional patient care within a supportive team environment. As part of our orthopedic outpatient clinic, you will enjoy a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimizing the stress of unpredictable hours and empowering you to prioritize your patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients to assess their physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans targeting recovery goals, leveraging therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and patient education.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative techniques to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes.
• Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including MDs, OTs, DCs, NPs, and PAs, to foster a cohesive and effective treatment process.
• Maintain organized and accurate patient records utilizing CureMD EMR, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be adults aged 40 to 65, addressing a variety of orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain. Your empathy and communication skills will play a vital role in motivating these patients throughout their treatment journeys, ensuring they feel supported and engaged in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Master's degree preferred) and a valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• A proven ability to adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient responses and needs.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, although new graduates with strong clinical internships are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with patient engagement strategies and motivational interviewing techniques to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your hard work and commitment to providing excellent patient care, we are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 125,000 per year. Additional benefits include:
