Bon Secours Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to provide exceptional care in our outpatient orthopedic setting. Our practice serves a diverse patient population, primarily including individuals with private medical insurance. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our outpatient therapy office. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable routine that promotes work-life balance. You will join a collaborative team comprising two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation tools necessary to facilitate effective treatment plans and support optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address patients' individual goals and treatment needs.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated and personalized care.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that enhance patients' range of motion, mobility, and functional independence.
• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans, incorporating various modalities and therapeutic techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy skills to alleviate pain and promote recovery, applying the most effective interventions based on patient responses.
• Motivate and educate patients about their rehabilitation process, fostering an environment conducive to recovery and wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Closely monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies based on evaluation findings.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Explore conservative management strategies to reduce reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our team focuses on providing supportive care that empowers patients of all ages to regain physical function and improve their overall health. Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and individualized therapeutic approaches.
• Strong capability in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols supported by clinical evidence.
• Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, particularly with complex cases that require multidisciplinary approaches. Candidates with additional certifications in specialty areas, such as sports rehab or manual therapy, will stand out in the hiring process. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are valuable, as you will be engaging with patients and collaborating with fellow healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
