Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility located in Fairview, NJ. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies, allowing professionals to deliver effective treatments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs, including a review of medical histories and specific orthopedic assessments.
• Communicate evaluation findings and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring all parties are engaged in the goals-setting process.
• Implement and document treatment protocols effectively and adjust plans based on patient progress and response to therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to industry standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and address any changes in patients' conditions promptly through appropriate referrals and adjustments to treatment plans.
• Participate in discharge planning, ensuring patients understand the follow-up care and provide timely and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, including evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Exhibit excellent time management skills to meet productivity expectations while maintaining an organized schedule and punctuality for appointments and team meetings.
• Contribute actively to departmental goals and adhere to regulatory compliance, including governmental regulations and accreditation standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including mentoring students and pursuing further education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Facilitate superior customer experiences by promoting flexible scheduling and timely access to care, while participating in community outreach initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of patients who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This role involves assessing and treating individuals of various ages and backgrounds, emphasizing a person-centered approach that fosters recovery through empathy, understanding, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with advanced rehabilitation techniques, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), and knowledge of marketing strategies in healthcare can be advantageous. Candidates who have engaged in mentorship or training roles will also be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
