Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to meet individual goals.
• Manage a diverse caseload of orthopedic patients, delivering interventions that effectively enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Develop and adjust fitness and wellness programs that are sustainable and aligned with each patient's lifestyle and preferences.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatment options to minimize the need for medications and invasive procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient progress notes and records using EMR software like Web PT, ensuring all patient documentation adheres to legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly educate patients on self-management strategies and preventive health practices to facilitate ongoing wellness and injury prevention.
• Perform regular outcome assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness and continuously adapt care strategies to ensure optimal patient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with an unblemished record, free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.

• Experience in creating and implementing individualized exercise programs tailored to distinct patient needs and recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

While all applicants will be considered, candidates with prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting and a demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
