Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques to tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Implement rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and improving balance and flexibility.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery processes, exercises, and wellness strategies to support long-term health.
• Participate in the clinical instruction and mentorship of interns and junior staff, demonstrating best practices in physical therapy.
• Prepare and present in-service training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills, ensuring the highest quality care is provided.
• Engage in clinical research projects, with the support of the management team, to address clinical challenges and improve treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation after surgeries such as joint replacements and ligament repairs. You will work with individuals of various ages and physical abilities, assisting them through the recovery process, fostering independence, and enhancing their functional performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid and active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with colleagues.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment and treatment techniques specific to orthopedic physiotherapy.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
