Work Environment

As a part of our onsite home care setting, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues in a supportive and energetic atmosphere. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, which enables a work-life balance, fostering both personal and professional fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans for individuals based on their specific needs and objectives.
• Manage patient caseloads, treating up to one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives adequate attention and care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and methodologies to enhance mobility and function.
• Reduce reliance on medications through effective management strategies and promote non-surgical alternatives.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, focusing on rehabilitative strategies that promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Create and adjust fitness and wellness programs, incorporating exercises that enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progression notes in adherence to our quality standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to discuss ongoing patient care enhancements.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and communicate progress with patients and interdisciplinary team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions who seek rehabilitation and recovery through specialized physical therapy. Our clientele consists mainly of individuals with private medical insurance, offering a unique opportunity to provide care that meets their needs and expectations. You will be instrumental in helping patients regain their independence and improve their overall physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current New Jersey Physical Therapist license with no disciplinary actions or board actions on record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within an orthopedic outpatient clinic to strengthen therapeutic interventional skills.
• Ability to foster therapeutic relationships with patients to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Experience in group fitness or wellness coaching, which can enhance therapeutic experiences.

Compensation and Benefits
