Work Environment

The work environment at Move For Life is dynamic and engaging. Our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing our physical therapists to deliver the highest standard of care. Each day is structured to maximize patient interaction, with a patient load of two individuals per hour, allowing therapists ample time to focus on personalized treatment. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, creating a desirable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical assessments for new patients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their condition and treatment needs.
• Develop, document, and implement individualized rehabilitation programs, ensuring that each patient's specific goals and capabilities are addressed.
• Guide patients through specific exercises designed to enhance strength, improve joint mobility, and promote overall health.
• Employ a range of advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, accelerate healing, and restore function.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and healthcare professionals, as necessary to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT, ensuring that all patient data is meticulously documented and updated.
• Educate patients on effective techniques for self-management and prevention of further injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population dealing with various orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-injury rehabilitation. The ability to tailor approaches based on each patient's unique situation will be crucial in fostering recovery and promoting overall wellness in this outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program is required, along with a valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a practicing physical therapist is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques is required.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
