Work Environment

Located in Fort Lee, NJ, our rehabilitation facility offers an inviting atmosphere where clinicians collaborate closely to foster innovative care. The role is onsite, ensuring you have direct access to necessary resources and the ability to maintain seamless communication with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for consistent patient interaction and treatment continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and establish personalized therapy goals.
• Utilize proven intervention strategies, including manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens, tailored for orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement detailed care plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques, ensuring holistic treatment.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment approaches as needed based on observable outcomes.
• Provide education and motivation to patients and their families, helping them understand the importance of adherence to prescribed activities.
• Foster a collaborative approach by consulting with other healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care network for our patients.
• Regularly review treatment results to measure progress and suggest modifications to enhance outcomes.
• Encourage the adoption of healthy lifestyle choices, aiming to improve overall strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic focuses on serving patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-operative rehabilitation and sports injuries. The typical patient profile includes individuals seeking to regain mobility and reduce pain, ranging from young athletes to older adults dealing with age-related conditions. By providing personalized care, we strive to help our clients achieve their rehabilitation goals and return to their daily activities without discomfort.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• At least three (3) years of substantial experience in a physical therapy role, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques tailored to orthopedic patient care.
• Expertise in designing and executing individualized exercise programs based on the latest evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic facility, demonstrating your ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
