Work Environment

Your day-to-day role will be conducted within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, which is designed to foster an atmosphere of healing and support. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing you with a predictable schedule that balances work and life commitments. Our spacious therapy areas are equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies and tools allowing for both one-on-one treatment sessions and group therapy settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical abilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment methods, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise regimens, tailored to address specific patient conditions.
• Guide patients through progressive rehabilitation programs while providing encouragement and motivation to help boost their confidence and engagement in the recovery process.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Promote an understanding of wellness and injury prevention through educational sessions for patients and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment effectiveness according to regulatory standards in a timely and accurate manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By closely monitoring each patient's response to treatment, you will adapt your approach to meet evolving requirements, fostering a personalized healing journey. Your role will also involve patients recovering from trauma or those in need of preventative strategies to avoid future musculoskeletal injuries.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active state license for practicing as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a physical therapy or relevant clinical setting, particularly within orthopedic practice.
• A clean professional standing with no prior board or disciplinary actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient orthopedic therapy environments, demonstrating familiarity with both therapeutic exercise design and manual therapy techniques.
• Proven ability to create and implement personalized wellness and rehabilitation programs that effectively address diverse patient needs.
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, showcasing excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits
