Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist in our practice, you will primarily provide care in patients' homes, promoting a comforting and familiar environment that encourages healing. Our team operates in a collaborative atmosphere where you will have the chance to work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure optimal management of patient care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's functional abilities and limitations, tailoring treatment plans accordingly to address their specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and improve patients' overall quality of life.
• Utilize various manual therapy techniques and develop guided exercise programs to rehabilitate orthopedic conditions effectively.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises, home care practices, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adhering to regulatory guidelines while ensuring clear communication with interdisciplinary team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice specializes in treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in outpatient or orthopedic settings.
• Current certification in BLS/CPR for healthcare professionals.
