Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thoroughly assessed evaluations of patients to identify physical limitations, pain levels, and functional deficits.
• Craft and implement customized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient, focusing on evidence-based approaches.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to facilitate patient progress.
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options, ensuring they understand their roles in the recovery process.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including physicians and support staff, to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient population requires a therapist who can adapt treatment approaches to meet individual challenges, ensuring each patient's unique recovery journey is supported. Your contributions will significantly enhance their rehabilitation outcomes and overall health.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey is required.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience specializing in orthopedic care.
• Proficient in using manual therapy techniques and familiar with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a robust understanding of treatment protocols.
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation equipment and modalities that enhance patient outcomes.
• Experience in engaging in patient outreach and education, promoting community health and wellness initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
