Work Environment

This position is strictly onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and multidisciplinary teams. Our clinic operates with an open and flexible layout that promotes teamwork and communication amongst staff. In addition to working with our patients, you will collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new patients to identify physical limitations, strength levels, and areas needing intervention.
• Develop, implement, and consistently revise individualized therapy plans that specifically cater to each patient's condition and recovery goals.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, myofascial release, and therapeutic exercise regimens that enhance recovery and functional mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, expected outcomes, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications necessary for improved health.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their responses to therapy.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and environment that promotes therapeutic relationships with patients and respects their privacy and dignity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Human Touch Rehab Center, you will be primarily focusing on patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient demographic ranges from young athletes to older adults, each with unique challenges and recovery goals. Your role is pivotal in guiding them through the healing process, ensuring that they regain the mobility and strength necessary to return to their everyday activities.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license issued by the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience, particularly in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; experience with WebPT is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional background in specialized orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, or post-operative recovery will be highly regarded. Experience with community outreach or patient education initiatives is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
