Human Touch Rehab Center is actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Orthopedic Outpatient Office located in Paramus, New Jersey. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our Paramus office, you will work in a welcoming and supportive outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify physical limitations, pain levels, and functional capabilities, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, adjusting protocols as required to enhance recovery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to encourage progress in musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Monitor patient progress closely and document treatment outcomes using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and exceptional patient care while contributing recommendations during case discussions.
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and strategies to maintain wellness post-discharge, empowering patients to take control of their health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve often include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and those requiring rehabilitation following injuries. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through their recovery journey, enhancing not only their physical capabilities but also their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Advanced degrees, such as a Master's or Doctorate, are preferred.
• Valid and active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey is essential to practice within our facility.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient orthopedic care.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and experienced with EMR systems like WebPT is highly regarded.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, additional experience working with specific populations or conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation or sports injuries, will be considered an asset. Familiarity with the latest evidence-based practices and a commitment to continuous professional development are highly encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
